hi,

I want to buy a printer for work in prototipes in ABS, PLA, PVA, and others, but I don't know what choose. I have see Bukobot but I need please recomend for yours. I live in Chile and Here there is a little bit of information and printered to buy. then I must to buy to USA.

Probably, you can find locally a LabRap printer (derived from P3Steel). It's a good first option.

My prusa i3 was about $380 after shipping, but you have to build it. Its nice though, once calibrated it rivals printers with a much higher price tag. Its good if you enjoy tweaking and testing etc. Half the time is spent on that. There are cheaper models for about $200 but you want a heat bed etc. If there is a screen and sd card slot then you can print without having a pc. Good luck!
