Yes, a cooling fan is very useful and improves print quality.
Flexible feet are good to minimize noise if your printer's frame is very rigid. If it isn't, soft feet are the last thing you want. If your printer's frame is flexy you need to set it directly on a hard, flat surface because that surface is part of the printer and helps keep things mechanically aligned.
