I had recently purchased a RepRap Pro Tri color Mendel. I was on the first test print when the the heating coil wire(HOT END) got snapped off due to what we figured out was tight wiring.
So, i used the hotend (RED) wire from the other head but it is unable to keep the temperature under control.
It reaches to more than 450 degree Celsius and after that we pull out the cables. We have checked all the wiring and the boards as mentioned in the various forums.
I figured out that it was a problem with the master board, as the board was getting heated up.
Can i use my slave board instead of the master board for the time being if i focus on making on a monocolor mendel till the time i order a master board.
Thanks.
