Hello,

If you can help me you will get rid of sooo much frustration. Please help if you can, this is super simple, I just don't know what I am doing wrong.

So I designed this super simple box with small hole in the base. It can print 100% just something is wrong with the model because it keeps patching the hole in the base. Please help me, how can I model this stupid simple box.

Here is the stl file: http://feroze.org/3d-models/base3.stl

Please tell me, why I cant print this, and help me so I can, I just want this dumb simple stand for a tea light, and it won't print the stupid hole. God damn, such a simple problem, and I have spent so long trying to figure it out Please help me.

Ok so I figured it out, and even though it sucked dealing with this error, I did learn a bit about what you need to do to model something correctly for 3D printing. First off, it the software did not "know" what the inside vs the outside of the model was.

Here is the model that actually worked: [feroze.org]

I had to make the model as an enclosed object with all surfaces having thicknesses and no surfaces overlapping.
