Repetier-Host + Slic3r configurations not available

Greetings,

we have some weird problem with Repetier-Host & Slic3r.
We installed Repetier-Host - loaded Slic3r settings and saved every tab. But when going back to Repetier-Host view the Slic3r settings are inactive and we can´t select the correct profiles.
Any ideas what´s wrong and how to workaround?

OS: Win7 64-bit, WinXP
Administrator rights: YES
Path includes ä or ö: in Win7, yes. In WinXP, no.
Standalone install, no workgroups or things like that.

Pictures were taken from WinXP machine.
Win7 machine had this error:

Update 1:
We got Slic3r profile fields activated with inserting manually the path to config files.
However the Slic3r still does not start even the path to Slic3r executable is inserted.

Created a user with ö and ß and got the same problem. SLic3r can not handle these chars. The good news is that today version 1.0RC1 appeared and this version can handle them. So overwrite the existing Slic3r directory in the host install directory with version 1 and it should work.
