Hi there,
I want to be able to generate a part that has, say 20% infill. However, in certain areas, especially around screw bosses, I want to have 100% infill to create a strong part that can be bolted to.
Here's my idea:
* Create an AMF or 2 STL files: 1 with the 'regular infil' data, and one for solid infill.
* configure slic3r to use 2 extruders with 0 offset. In fact, I only have 1 extruder, but slic3r doesn't need to know that
* configure slic3r in relative E mode.
* tell extruder 1 to use 20% infill, tell extruder 2 to use 100% infill.
Et voila! The part should be super strong where I need it to be.
However, I can't see that I can do that setting with Slic3r. I see that I can assign different extruders for infill, but I can't see where I set each extruder's infill setting. Any thoughts?
