Hi - easy enough to trim but any idea why I get these stray dots building up to look like a centipede?!? have a look at attached

running Reprap Mendel Mono / Marlin / Slic3r v1RC2

Looks like there may be other issues, but the "centipede" looks to me like something that can be addressed by retraction - it looks like your hot end is oozing when it moves. Do you have any retraction turned on?
