Hello,
I'm trying to get my head around using scripts with Slic3r.
So far I'v downloaded ActivePerl and associated the .pl files. Then using the directory path (eg. C:\Personal\
z-every-line.pl ) in Print Settings>Output>Post-processing section I hope to run the pre written script.
Changing the opening line of the z-every-line.pl script to the application path (eg. C:\Perl64\bin\perl) is as far as I have gone...
With variants on -i and / to \ in the script.
Slic3r Does its thing and the files arnt edited.
Not very extensive I know, but my knowledge base isnt great either.
Running on Windows bootcamp 64bit (modeling side)
My eventual aim is to output a .bfb type file that has a Z and a F on every G1 line
e.g.
G1 X21.9 Y19.6 Z0.4 F1380.0
G1 X17.3 Y23.6 Z0.4 F1380.0
G1 X14.9 Y25.1 Z0.4 F1380.0
G1 X11.6 Y26.8 Z0.4 F1380.0
But before that some understanding of whats (not) happening would help.
Thanks
