New features in Slic3r 1.1.x

I would like to bring some new features to your attention:

Dialog for cutting meshes in two using a slicing plane:


Lightweight smart bridging support material:



Linear gap fill:


Object editor to compose multi-part objects (for multiple extruders or for assigning distinct slicing settings to each part):


Modifier meshes to apply distinct slicing settings to a specific sub-region:


Pillars support material:

However... did they fix the crash every 3rd slices from the same load ?
