I can confirm that !
The paths are not really closed.
I think this is a similar function such as "clip" in skeinforge or the "coast" function in simplify, to avoid blobs at the end of a path.
If you print only one solid object there is no big impact...
But if you print more objects, especially with single walls, the objects are not watertight.
Second problem is, the travel moves between the objects causing stringing because the end of a path doesn't "stick" to the start.
Increasing Infill/perimeter overlap can not solve this problem !
The more accurate the mechanic of the printer can follow the G-Code, the more significant the problem is.
