So I got myself a nice roll of Diamond Age PLA to print parts for a Mini Kossel using the Bukobot at work. All fine and dandy, I swapped out the PLA work is using for my PLA and started printing. Then the filament stripping started. So I searched around a bit on what I could do to resolve this and have tried quite a bit. This includes adding a large retract between layers. I'm wondering now if I should try dumping some material between layers to resolve this as the problem seems to be a film generating in the head that eventually causes the PLA to bind. Doesn't happen with the work PLA. Anyway, for the question. How would I best implement this as a layer change Gcode. I've tried changing to relative dimensions in my code, but that doesn't really work out. Also, is this a bad idea?
