Hi!
I am quite new to 3D printing and I recently just switched from Makerware to slic3r but I am still using my Makerbot Replicator 2x.
Here is is what I have been able to do
-Load my file on Slic3r
-Export the G-code
However I am unable to print the file. After I exported the G-code, I copied and pasted the file on my Makerbot SD card (as I would if I was using Makerware) but this method doesnt work with Slic3r.
I downloaded the Printrun and I tried to use Pronterface(because I saw a guy do that on youtube) but it requires a port name, and I have absolutely no idea what mine is.
Is there any other way around this?
Do I need to download a software (for example Printrun), before I can print with my Replicator 2x using Slic3r?
