No data on Resend: Mac0.56 w/binary protocol

I'm experiencing an issue when trying to request a previous gcode line from Repeiter. When sending a Resend:xx, all that I get in return are zeros. The log window shows that Repeiter received the request correctly and issues a resend. This only happens when its print settings are in the binary protocol method. In the ASCII mode, all data comes though as expected. I've tried toggling the "ok" after error button in the printer option menu, but this hasn't made any difference in the outcome.

Is anyone using this version and not having issues with the firmware receiving Resend commands? Without some feedback, I can't tell where the problem lies. I'm using a network analyzer to watch the message traffic back and forth between the motor controller and Repetier.. all I see are packets of zero's from Repetier when a resend is requested..

does anyone have some insight as to how Repetier's communication protocol works?
