Hey guys, or gal . I have a Mendel max 1.5. Had it for about 4 months. nothing but problems. replaced my hot end to a .5mm.

Now the printer will not print. the g-codes are loading nut the printer isn't ptinting. The part is the little drive gear on the extruder.
15 minute print. I hav ehad it with this printer.

What firmware are you running?

By stating that it does not print, what does it actually do?

There is a setting in the marlin firmware to prevent extrusion if the hot end temperature is too low. What is yours set to, and what temperature is your hot end at?

Does it stop extruding after 15 minutes ?
Does the extruder click or clunk for a while and then stops extruding?
If so it may be that the bed and extruder nozzle are not on an equal flat plane together.
Or it may just be the z stop is set wrong, it its too low it will stop extruding after a while.

What exactly is or isn't happening?
