hello,

for first time trying to connect to printer via pronterface, but this is all i can get:

i'm using win7, pronterface has been ran as admin, language is english, tried with the version on the microsd and by downloading the latest version as well.
can someone explain me why is this?

UPDATE: Tried to connect the printer to 2 other computers, I got the same results.

I run the exact version of Pronterface that is on the SD card on Win7 and WinXP computers and it works, so it looks like a problem with the way Windows PCs are configured for your language.

If the latest version fails then you might be better asking the developers of Pronterface via github.

Thanks, all the computers run in english, I'll try to re-install one of them in the evening though.
If fails again, I'll ask the guys at github...

Well, after re-installing my PC (again with Win7 Ultimate 32bit, British localization):

After I press connect, on pronterface message box:

Tried the version on the card and the one from github, same error. I`m afraid the problem is not with my SW/HW...

... looks like different baudrates in firmware and host ...

thank you for your response Viktor, just passed the printer to one of my IT enthuastic colleague to deal with the problem as I`m already not in that mood smiling smiley

Solved, works well with same settings on WinXP. It's a shame, I didn't try it sooner.
