Extruder heater turning off mid print.

I have a repeated problem wherein the extruder heater itself off turns off and the print fails. Any ideas?

Bad connection to the heater or thermistor. Does it give an error message like MAXTEMP or MINTEMP exceeded?

No, it happens at the same point if I repeat a print aswell.

It could be caused by pressing the heater off button on Pronterface while uploading to the SD card. Any manual commands you do while that is happening get mixed in with the gcode on the SD card.
