Hi,

Is there a fan mount for cooling a j head like the fan mount of a e3d hotend?

Nophead's current design which has been around since last October removed the need for such a cooling fan by incorporating a hole in the part cooling fan duct to disturb the air around the top of the JHead. At the same time, the design added self-amalgamating tape to the bottom of the JHead to reduce convected heat. [hydraraptor.blogspot.co.uk]

Saying that, when the design changes were released I had already added the fan shown in NumberSix's blog so never bothered to change my fan duct. The down side to my arrangement is that I have used the 'probe' wire and connection terminal on the PCB so that I can control the fan via a MOSFET which I can turn on and off using GCode. Will require a rethink if I ever come to implement any auto bed levelling system which requires the probe wire and PCB terminal.
