We're still gathering people and brainstorming about an alternative design hosting site.
Name for now is "Homeprototype.org" (Already reserved the domains, so they can't be taken).

Apart from where and how to host the files, one major point is also how we can organize and finance such a site.

Please store all options, pro and contra arguments in the wiki, so they don't get lost in a lengthy discussion and we can at one point vote to make a final design decition.

Two obvious choices are of cause donations of server space/bandwith or money and some advertisements on the site.
But some legal entity has to pay for the server space and collect that money.
Also someone has to do the accounting and raise an alarm when funds run low and stuff.
