Bridging (SOLVED)

Big Blue with Twin Fans produced a perfect 60mm bridge tonight, along the X-axis line (i.e. with full cooling)...
After some sleep I'll attempt a 100mm Bridge tomorrow, and then test it's limits.. (It's hard work bridge building in the middle of the night).......


Next plan for Big Blue after I've proved it's X-axis bridging limit will be to improve it's Y-axis bridging....

The thread from the pillar was were the skirt got tangled up in the print where muggins here forgot to clean the bed, and it came unstuck...

Impressive! What slicer settings / temperatures are you using?

I used 180'c and 65'c the Slic3r settings are attached...

Hi Michaelljunggren, yes I'm pretty happy with Big Blue project at the moment. Unfortunately working for a living gets in the way of the REAL work...... I hope to have the nozzles plublished soon to give Big Blue 360' bridgability.... Watch this space.... As light relief I produced the automated nozzle cleaning add on.

I'm nearly there with the cooling nozzles.
Let me know what you think..

Current cooling ports are in yellow in the pic below.
I'm just wondering if I should do away with them, and just have the new cooling ports, which I hope will give 360' cooling without blowing on the nozzle.

I have a similar design on my nozzle but i have tilted the wale at the nozzle 45 degree to clear the heater cables
