I'll look for that next time i visit an electric storeQuote

Get one of those power meters that you plug in the wall socket and measure it. Will give you both current power draw as well as average over time, for your particular use case.
Nice knowing those values, Thanks! will look for a simular monitorQuote

I measured the power consumption just the other day,
this is what I recorded:
15W on stand-by
23W while hom'ing
156W on start-up (bed warming but no hot nozzle yet)
200W on start-up with bed heating and nozzel heating
50W - 200W printing out depending on the printers co-ordination of motors, bed moving and bed and nozzel heating going on / off
(I used a digital plug-in Power & Energy monitor, Maplin L61AQ)
Thanks! yea, I was looking for about averageQuote

Are you looking for an average or a maximum? There is a lot of difference between when the heaters are on and off. The bed heater is about 120W when on and the extruder heater about 50W when fully on. That's 170W for the heaters, which will be nearer 200W at the input to the power supply.
