Panel Due: the file doesn't exist!
May 24, 2015 10:16AM
I have a PanelDue with firmware 1.07 and Ormerod 1 with fmw 1.09a- dc42.
I uploaded a .g file to print, wia web interface (vers. 1.06) but I don't see it in the files displayed by the PanelDue so I can't print this object with it alone!
Another question is how to get inside a sub direcrory that it is displayed with an asterisk in front of the name?
By the way the g file missed by the PanelDue wasn't in a sub dir.
Thank you.

Rick.

Hi Rick, and thanks for using PanelDue.

1. There is a limit to the total length of filename text that the RepRapFirmware can pass back to PanelDue. It's currently about 1000 characters. If you have a lot of files on the card, perhaps you are exceeding this? That would explain why the file isn't visible. I think it should be possible to increase this limit to about 2000 characters - I'll look at doing this in the next release of my fork of RepRapFirmware.

2. The PanelDue firmware doesn't yet support accessing files in subdirectories. This will be added in the next firmware release
