Duet 0.85 problems

Hi all
I am rebuilding my Ormerod to the improved version 2 with larger 200 x 300 bed and added height on z axis(10cms)
I like the belt gripping on the Y carriage and the x carriage bearing running under the x arm
I did have problems with the belt grip on the x carriage but it worked well eventually
I am using a duet 0.85 in my rebuild and here is where my problems start
I can sort out the changes in the y direction and the end stop
I use DC42s sensor and fan control
Now the hot end fan runs all the time - reversing the thermistor leads stops this but then as hot end heats up the fan does not run at all
I have added the jumper at R22 and changed the config sys to correct temps
I have added lines in config sys to invert fans - still same problem
Ajax halts the web interface to say there is a heater problem
I have tried 2 DC42 sensor boards and have the same problem with both with and without r22 jumper
Heated bed control is fine
What am I missing in this setup to enable it to run correctly
Thanks
Rob H

A poor +3.3V or ground connection to the 4 pin connector on the sensor can cause that problem.
