Gluing polyester cast parts?

Gluing polyester cast parts?

So I thought Id drill out the parts for the X-axis idler before going to work, so I can get some assembly done tonight without bugging the neighbors too much. And I though that one of the HSS drill bits might be faster than the wood bit I was using before. Turns out, yes, its faster, but it destroys parts.

I now have a broken x-180-z-bearing-plate.

Anyone know what glue is most suitable for this, or should I just grab some superglue and mark it on the list of spare parts that need to be printed ASAP.

I read somewhere that superglue is a 2-part adhesive, where the 2nd part is water. If that's true, you should be able to get an excellent bond by moistening the faces before application of the smallest possible amount of glue for good coverage, then clamp for 24 hrs. Only one way to find out if it'll be good enough winking smiley
