Can we extend a CNC machine?

I found that Zen Toolworks CNC 7x7 Complete Package is pretty good,
but it's too small form me

Can I make some Extension Kit to make it X travel size to 1 meter and Y travel size to 5 meter?

To extend to those dimensions, you would only be able to make use of the few parts that don't need to have their dimensions extended. depending on the weight of the new larger bed, you might need larger steppers too.

You would need new lead screws, smooth rods, and all the panels would have to be re-made, or chopped, and extended.

You might as well start from scratch with one of the CNC designs available on-line.

... or repstrap a common CNC-mill:
