I....have...a....problem...

as you can see in the attached file with a totally random behavior displacement.

Sometimes due to:

- X Axis
- Y Axis
- both of em

its not coming with (at least not regular)

- Heatbed on
- Extruder on
- everything on
- layer change
- speed

what i tried:

- new power supply
- raised power supply cable diameter by adding mor cables
- heatsinked everything at electronics and cooling it with a fan (which has its own power supply)
- firmware updated
- different firmware settings
- different feed/flow rates
- differnet current supply for steppers
- different host software

what i'm using:

- Prusa Mendel
- Sanguinololu 1.2
- Sprinter FW
- 450W ATX Poer Supply
- All axis run smooth in idle
- Skeinforge
- Repsnapper
- Heatbed MK2

If more information / Pictures are needed, just ask plz. (Have plenty of such Fails)

I would be very greatful if somebody has an idea that could help me.

thx and greetings

Pete

My guess is your acceleration is too high.

you mean these lines in Configuration.h ?

long max_acceleration_units_per_sq_second[] = {1000,1000,50,10000}; // X, Y, Z and E max acceleration in mm/s^2 for printing moves or retracts

long max_travel_acceleration_units_per_sq_second[] = {500,500,50,500}; // X, Y, Z max acceleration in mm/s^2 for travel moves

if yes, are there values you could recommend ?

indeed a good thought. Thx 4 that, will defenitely give it a try.
