Hi RepRappers,
I've just built my RepRapPro Mendel, wired all up, started commisioning, but here I'm stuck;
I connect the Melzi board to my PC, via USB, and ... nothing happens. After few seconds the red led on Melzi starts flashing, but my Windows (Windows 8, x64) doesn't detect anything. I've installed the appropriate VCP (virtual COM port) drivers, I've tried different USB ports, checked / refreshed the device manager, rebooted windows - I have no detection. Any ideas ? Help would be greatly appreciated.
