I've built a Mendel Max 1.5. I'm having the problem that after 3-5 layers, it starts beading and leaving ~0.2mm diameter beads instead of a nice string a filament. I have no idea what to do about this. I've tried decreasing the layer height (to the point that the nozzle dragged through previous layers). I've tried baking a few feet of filament for 1 hour at 170F, which seemed to help a bit, but it still happened. I've tried fiddling with so many Slic3r settings I don't even remember what I've done.
Everyone seems to have this happen on the first layer (at least that's what all the advice I'm finding is for). That's not the issue, the first few layers are perfect.
