I am trying to make my own hotend and was looking at a load of different designs. One thing that seems to vary wildly is the angle of taper at the hot end. Some, like the one I currently have, have a shallow angle which sometimes drags on the plastic already laid down leaving marks. Others have a much steeper angle.
Are there any benefits to either? Currently I am thinking steeper for mine, but want to make sure it isn't going to cause another issue I am unaware of!
