Prusa Mendel not connecting to the Pronterface(windows 8)

Currently I am in the middle of programming of prusa mendel, and I got stuck when I want to connect my computer (with pronterface) to the prusa mendel. When I want to connect it, it stays at 'connecting..' and from the manual it is supposed to pop-out words 'the printer is now online' but unfortunately it stays at 'connecting'. Anyione have any solution to my problem?

Make sure the COM port selected in Pronterface is the same as the COM port assigned to your board by Windows

Have you set up your PC for the Arduino?

it is the same port that I used. Anyway there is only 1 COM port for me, COM 3

I did follow he manual from the website, but at first before I start to calibrate the printer with my Pronterface, I realised that my arduino driver isn't Arduino Mega 2560 R3 but Arduino Mega 2560 only. So I updated the driver in which this has changed the order of of the installation which I believe the Arduino driver should be installed in the first place before the other Python, Pyserial etc. Is this the cause for my problem( pronterface won't connect to my Prusa Mendel)?

Do you it set to the correct bit rate? Marlin defaults to 250000.

The 1.5.6-r2 beta has drivers that work for win8 64bit.

I use Sprinter and I set it to 115200.
