RepRap Fisher Slic3r Settings

Hi all,

Just finished building my RepRap Fisher and printed the robot successfully.

However when trying to print an STL that have been sliced with Slic3r all I get is smear on the build plate and a skipping extruder. I have tried the config file provided by the kit maker but its not working. Reverting to the robot it prints perfectly.

I assume that the problem is with the Slic3r parameters, does anyone has a written list can refer to?

There is a separate subforum here for the Fisher. It sounds to me that you don't have the Z=0 height set at the start of the print. Try putting G28 followed by G32 in your slic3r start gcode, or run them manually before printing.
