[RepRap Pro Mendel] plastic doesnt stick to heat bed

Hi guys,

My RepRap is completely finished and printing (yaay!!) but now when i start printing (the heat bed and the heater that melts the plastic work both fine) the plastic just doesn't stick to the bed and no usable model has come out of it yet.

I don't know what is going on. The heat bed is at 90 to 100 degrees and the hot end that melt the plastic is at 200+ degrees. So, I guess that is not the point.

Any of you have the same problem?

If you have your heat bed at 90-100C then I assume you are using ABS which means you can raise the hot end to 225C or higher. For good adhesion cover your heat bed with Kapton Tape and clean with Acetone (not nail polish remover). You can also lower the z endstop slightly so the first layer squashes on to the surface but be careful.
