Heating issues

Hello!

After going through many old posts about heating issues, I have determined it would be easiest just to create a new post.

On a self-made printer (Marline Firmware), I just started having issues with the hot end not heating. After some troubleshooting, I determined that the mosfet on D10 is no longer in good condition. So as a quick fix, I just changed the heater to D9. When trying to heat, the LED on the board flickers a little and then the heating times out (Just over 0 V when it should be heating). When I run the PID Autotune, the heater heats up right away, the LED shines, and the voltage is 12V. I am not sure where is the problem.
Is there something that I am perhaps missing/needs fixing in the Firmware? Open to suggestions. Thanks!

Updated Firmware and got everything to work.
