Hi, has anyone got any tips for aligning the drive belt on the Y-axis so it runs true over both bearings?
I've tried adjusting the x-position of the idler bearing and the x-position of the y-motor but it seems almost impossible to get it to run true.
Also the motor seems to run smooth and then, without obvious reason, run with about twice the resistance even though the belt isn't rubbing on anything. What causes this?
It seems like a nice mod would be a screw adjust on the idler bearing axis (and perhaps on the y-motor too?) - i.e. 2 cap screws that move either side of the idler bearing.
