What to do with extra RepRap parts?

Hi Everyone,

I am printing Prusa i3 parts for my next printer. Some have flaws but they are still usable. I'm just printing extras as I learn how to improve things.

What should I do with the full set of extra Prusa i3 parts I will end up having? Seems like a shame to toss them, or eventually melt them back into filament.

Does someone want them?

I'm in Ontario btw.

Oh, I should add, I'm not selling anything, this would be for free.

Donating unwanted parts does happen - there are many people wanting to start a build but have severely limited funds so yes, tell people what you have and donate! There's nothing like helping others to get started..

Some parts you may want extras of. For instance a piece on my Wades extruder broke and luckily I had a spare around or would be a problem to print.

Okay, I will keep the extras together then! Mailing them out might not cost much, so I could even do that.

I see the point with spare parts. But then at this moment the Mendel is still the spare printer, so I am okay there.
