Good morning everybody.
I need to configure my axis for working beyond physical position of the endstop. Actually, I need to configure it for placing somewhere in the middle of axis.
I did it successfully before on my Mellow Fly GeminiV2. However, when I tried to use the same set of macros on Mellow Fly E3V1 it didn't work. It is possible I missed some important settings I did on Gemini. But this plate is not available anymore. Could maybe somebody help me with this?
What I did:
I installed sliding endstop 3 mm above the bed. I'm using it for quick calibration of nozzle together with contact probe.
I'm expecting to get right tool offset (G10 P0 X0 Y0 Z-3) or coordinate system offset (G10 L20 P2 X0 Y0 Z-3) after probing.
What I got:
While setting tool offset, offset as is seems to be calculated right, but head can not reach position beyond 0 mm.
While setting workplace coordinate offset, head is stopping at position 3 mm (= physical position of endstop) and also can no go beyond this limit.
On my GeminiV2 I was configured it successfully for working with work coordinate offset for endstop with position 40 mm above bed level.
Possible, I'm missing some important settings now. Or, maybe it is a problem with board.
Could maybe somebody help me with this? I can not access my printer during work time, but I have copy of my SD card and I probably can answer most of questions about situation.
