Step 52: setting stepper drivers to correct Vref
June 24, 2016 10:26PM
Hello, new to the forum. I made it to step 52 of the build manual, which is Set Stepper Drivers to correct Vref. I plugged in the power supply and got green light and the stepper board showed an flashing amber light at the bottom right of board. I set my multi-meter to DC Volt and 200m (even tried the other settings as well). But my readings stayed flat at 0.0. I tried turning the potentiometer clockwise and testing and counter clock wise and testing with nothing but 0.0 showing. I took my time with the directions but anything is possible. Now, I noticed that I no longer get a flashing amber light (still have the green light on the power supply). So I'm hoping I some how didn't fry my board.

Any assistance is appreciated... thanks.

Thank you elwood127 for the reply. I just ordered new components and swapped it out. I have it configured and running now. I've been able to educate myself on a bunch of stuff with YouTube so my success rate is going up on the prints.

Thanks again for the reply.
