Building a Prusa Mk3 and the hotend temp PT100 with amp reads 1047. with or with out the sensor connected. running firmware 3.5.2

verified the amps output voltage is correct ~1.23v at ambient and changes with heater turned on but the displayed temp does not move.
Do I have to do something else to turn the pin on to read it? is there another setting I missed?
