moves in a random direction indicates that you're trying to move the stepper faster than it can handle. Double check that the V1.19 and the current settings for steps_per_unit, acceleration, feedrate, microsteps and stepper current are the same. If they are the same then drop acceleration and feedrate in half and see what happens.
Don't mess with sensorless homing until you can move the steppers reliably.
