During conversation earlier this evening with Lionel-from-Aberdeen, he informed me that the laser-cut plywood joint set that he is building includes a number of parts where a groove needs to be machined to control the lateral play of the bars during use.
I proposed a jig for cutting the grooves with a couple of straight edges and a Stanley knife. But on second and third thoughts, I thought that success could be achieved by modifying an off-the-shelf part with a pair of parallel glue ridges.
Has anyone tried this approach ; does it work?
