I've got plenty of Stepper Motor Drivers Version 1.2 for sale. Those boards are easy to solder and the needed L297/298 chip combo is widely available in electronic shops.

The PCBs itself are made in Germany, lead free and are UL listed.

I can now ship out complete Stepper Motor Driver 1.2 Part Kits, including PCB and all components required to build it (except solder & tools).

Price is 23,90 Euro/Set.

Tell me if you need a fully or partially pre-soldered board.

Currently I have
- more than 100 units of bare PCB in stock
- 24 units of the full kit in stock.

Hi joaz,

... i ordered an Arduino Mega yesterday and want to build a repstrap/CNC-combo with some microstepping drivers and inductive reference/limit-switches.

Where can i find the differences and workarounds between Arduino/Sanguino/Mega?

do you mean this overview:

[blog.makerbot.com]

Brief:
168 = 16K
328 = 32K
Sanguino = 64K
Mega = 128K

or do you mean these technical specs/descriptions:

168 and 328: [arduino.cc]
[sanguino.cc]
[arduino.cc]

finally, the datasheets are here:
168: [www.atmel.com]
Sanguino: [www.atmel.com]
328: [www.atmel.com]
Mega: [www.atmel.com]

Hi buzz,

... thanks, i already found the info - you can run the firmware on the Arduino Mega when redefining some pins ...

Hi joaz,

... i managed to get the Arduino Mega running, but until now only with GCode-interpreter and Java host.

Have you plans to sell the Sanguino in your shop too?

Are your plans to offer them in the future fully assembled and tested? Wholesale parts are very much cheaper, wave bath soldering is by far more reliable and faster and a commercial site can test with their equipment much faster and more reliable than we can at home with a single DMM.

thanks

Maybe a Sanguino clone in the future. I've some prototype boards here to test the design, but I'm too busy with a lot of other things (speaking the aluminum repstrap project) at the moment.

Probably next year.
Hi joaz!

No sorry, I don't have the 2.3 Version (and you probably won't find a seller in Europe).

I've tried to make a prototype out of it, but the eagle file is messed up somehow. Also it's hard to source it's driver chip in Europe.
