Dear reader,

We are a Dutch company that will be selling Reprap Mendel Kits and parts.

Our goal is selling complete Mendel kits within two months. We have very good connections in multiple industries. Steel/Electronics industry etc.

We are currently building our own Mendelfactory, we hope to have 6 to 8 Mendels operational in the upcoming months. Printing more Mendel reprap parts fulltime.

Our webshops (www.mendel-parts.com & www.mendel-kits.com) will be online in a few weeks, (we are building it at this time) but since our stock is growing rapidly, we decided to start selling some products already via Ebay.

check the ebay link for more info:

Genious store, I really recommend it!
They have close to the whole mendel in stock.
It would be nice to actually get a prompt reply from you once in a while.

BEWARE THIS COMPANY!!!!

They take your money, and then you never hear from them again. We ordered (and paid in full) for an Orca from them back in July. We had one e-mail saying they were shipping "next week", and then nothing, despite multiple e-mails.

I'm trying to find out if they are still in business. Posts on their forums suggest they don't answer the phone, either.

If I ever get my Orca I'll modify this bad post, but until then, caveat emptor!

Pretty same situation, we paid like 1k EUR for kit and a few other parts, I successfully contacted them in august, they said my kit will be ready next week(august)... since then I have tried to contact them by phone, email, contact form on website, no reply.

I still believe they ship it, tho day by day my faith weakens.

I am going to visit Gubbels Engineering next week, in Eindhoven. Hopefully, I will be working with them to resolve these issues, so we can all get our machines.

I will ensure either one of two outcomes:

1) We get our machines
2) We get our money!

I hope it's number one! I have offered to work with them for free, to help iron out any problems, and get stuff sent out. They did reply, and accept my offer, but I've not heard from them since. I haven't booked my tickets yet, but will do pretty soon. I'm expecting to travel either next Tuesday or Thursday.

Feel free to contact me at james at jameshardiman dot co dot uk if you want me to know about your particular situation.

It would help me to know what you ordered, when, how much you paid, etc.

Also, I believe that the possibility may exist to have your order fulfilled either as V 0.2 or V 0.3; it would help to know which you would prefer. I suspect that Camiel believes everyone will want V 0.3 ... but I don't. I see 0.2 as a Rep Rap (capable of printing it's own parts), but V0.3 has, as far as I can see, very few plastic parts.

Here's version three:

and here's version two:

http://www.mendel-parts.com/index.php/catalog/complete-kits/complete-orca-v0-2-kit-unassembled.html

If all goes well I will be coming back after the workshop on October 8-9. I will be driving, and coming back to the UK Dunkirk-Dover, and then driving back to my home near Southampton. If you want me to bring back your machine, and are able to pick it up from my home, please let me know.

ALSO: I hope to be driving up to Utrecht, and intend to bring back a Makerbeam kit:

http://www.makerbeam.eu/

If you would like me to bring you back a kit, let me know. You can pay Johan direct; I'll just be the mailman. BTW, you might like to know that Johan has been working ona slider mechanism for Makerbeam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSdKXuFbD1s

I'm hoping that he will have some for sale by the time I get there.

Lastly, I have found a supply of VERY reasonably priced NEMA 17 motors (4 for £20). I am going to pick up a supply on my way home; let me know if you're interested (you'll need to collect them from me in Southampton; I don't want to get into posting them!)
