About a year and a half ago I started working on a Darwin. I got all the parts except the extruder then I got really busy and no longer had time to work on it. As a result I have had the following sitting in my basement for close to a year:
- Mostly assembled frame for Darwin with almost all parts 3D printed with the exception of the corner blocks which are made of plastic. Timing Belt pulleys were purchased from McmasterCarr to ensure higher accuracy than ones created from plastic forms. Print surface is made of plywood.
- Full set of electronics all soldered up
- Stepper motors
- 3-5 lbs black ABS plastic
- Probably more, will add later
The printed parts alone cost me $250. Photo's available on request. Looking for offers, preferably in southeast Michigan as shipping this thing will be very expensive. carpenma at gmail.com with questions. Thanks
