Sold one set to guy in Brazil still waiting to see if he got it.over 10 days now.yep he got them.
sold one 12 LM8UU set to guy in CA he gave good feedback.
sold one set to guy in VA sent today hope he likes it.
i have more sets for sale 8 i think.
ordered rod to cut for SAE sets might be about 2 weeks till i get that.
is stainless steel T304 Plus or Minus .0003 figure around 35 bucks a set all in.
for Prusa Mendel and will cut some to order.
Pay Pal takes it's bite.eBay gets a slice. post office gets their chunk.
and packing etc i make about 50 cents a set.
no way i would do any of this for less than 40 bucks a hour.
but i sourced for my self and hope to come out with a set for my self.

You have some asian competitors on ebay that sells for half that price, including shipping.
So maybe try to find some local customers to cut on the ebay / paypal / post costs ?

yep they sell cheaper but it can take 7 to 14 days to get from them more like 10 days.
for much of what i bought from there. and i am selling some... i need to cut some prices
some how.and will work to that end. going to cut the 608's price and whittle down the full set that way.
but letting ad's run before changing any thing.
i sold 2 more sets of the LM8UU's one to a Gent in the Netherlands. and one to a Gent in PA today .

is the set that is selling best. the 608's with rubber clad metal seals are better than the zz's all metal ones
they run quieter than all metal and are easier to open for lubrication and service.

Hi folk.
I received the smooth rod and cut a set.
Set is stainless steel T304 Plus or Minus .0003

checks out to be straight rolling on glass sheet and against each other.
LM8UU's slide very well all along them. i am working on my ad now
i intend to sell them with the 12 LM8UU's for 60 Bucks plus shipping at around 3 Lb's per BOX...

Please forgive my ignorance - what are the LM8UUs used for in a Prusa? I am currently in the process of acquiring parts for my 1st Prusa and believe that I need 3 608s for the main unit and 3 more 608s for the Wade's Extruder. Am I missing something?

The lm8uus are an alternative to the PLA bushings that are easier to get running smoothly and last longer.

you can use them instaed of the printed bushings. But you need printed parts that are designed to hold them. Contact me, if you need parts

Last night the 31st i sold two sets to gents in Texas.
and a set of 608's to a third gent in Texas.Sept.8 2011. looks like Folk in Texas are building reprap's.
Oh and a guy in New Mexico bought a LM8uu's the other night.
and the day before a nice guy came over and picked up a set.
Yes i gave him a discount -minus the postage and listing fee's
I had to resend the order to Brazil i think his got lost (Customs) I hope he gets them this time.now only one waiting
Ya he got them finally . i think the bar code was messed up on the label
have not heard if the guy in the Netherlands got his yet. it's been ?? days.(CRS)
bit of a worry.. he got them and said in his feedback Perfecte communicatie. Dit artikel onbedoeld besteld. Annuleren was geen probl.

Kit includes one cast aluminium "Y"axis motor bracket with BELT adjuster.
one Pully Flange upgrade Kit.

The "Why-B" upgrade kit is intended to make your prusa run true by improving the rigidity of the frame and guiding a very tight belt with flanges that can rotate
smoothly with the belt and there by tighten tolarances in the "Y" axis
and the kit includes a flange set to replace the washers on the "X"axis ideler.
i have this kit on my Prusa as i did not like the printed "y" motor bracket
it is just too wimpy and printing a wider thicker one Just Looked Wrong.
ugly ugly ugly and i would still be stuck with adjusting belt tension under the "Y"
print bed over the carriage what a pain. then the relevel devil.
Now i just slide the build surface back out of my way and adjust the belt adjuster
screw with a screwdriver. well one must just loosen the motor mount screw's a bit
so motor will move then retighten but it's much easyer than what was before
and one can tighten the heck out of the belt even enough to break things like belt end clamps and the belt it's self not the Cast Alloy motor bracket.
Bling yes. i have several to sell like maybe 7 or 8 depends on how i feel.

And it just looks cool like "Hot Rod speed parts." only for your Prusa.
The "Why-B" bracket realy firms up my Prusa frame in front much less flex.
and not that my motor ever gets hot. it will act like one big heat sink.

the thing will out last any printed part. bio degrade my butt recycle the alloy.
