Cool! I sent you a PM. Justinby riboflavin - General
Hey everyone, I hope this is an OK place to post this, I thought it'd be relevant to this community. I recently launched a service called Kitify that allows DIY project creators to sell kits without having to do any of the part ordering, packing or shipping, and I'm looking for some beta testers. Any interest? You'd provide us with a bill of materials and instructions for some project you've dby riboflavin - General
OK, thanks. I'm going to post it now - if you need to take it down, no problem. Thanks for the quick reply!by riboflavin - Administration, Announcements, Policy
Hi, I'm looking for beta testers for a service I've launched that converts project instructions into sellable kits, and gives the project writer $ whenever someone buys a kit from us. I think the RepRap community might be really interested in this, and it's definitely a business for makers, but I don't want to spam if it's not appropriate. Would it be OK for me to post in General? If not, is thby riboflavin - Administration, Announcements, Policy
Hey everyone, I hope this isn't spam, but I'm considering developing a better BOM tool (to take the place of Google Docs etc. that people are using now). I'm just wondering whether anyone here would use it. It'd be free to use, and the first version would just be a nice interface for entering parts lists, saving them, and looking at them later. Later we'd build the possibility of ordering everby riboflavin - General
Hey folks, I am selling a bunch of miscellaneous supplies for $200 or best offer, plus shipping. (This is a relist because previous buyer pulled out of the sale). The package includes: - A partially-built Huxley kit with almost all (if not all) the parts. It has the 3D printed parts, though a few of them are busted and will need to be reprinted. - A Monotronics electronics board which I believeby riboflavin - For Sale
I'll throw mine into the list, too, in case it's helpful - includes part numbers for both the extruder and printer.by riboflavin - General
Thanks a lot, Greg - I updated with the new pricing. Appreciate the help! Justinby riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
Just FYI for readers, I had to raise the price a bit ($90 for the drilled parts, $70 for undrilled). Sorry about that - as far as I can tell there's no way for me to fix the subject line of the thread but am happy to do so if I can just figure out how...by riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
Lukea, Since you sound as if you may be new to this (apologies if not), I would actually recommend to you that you buy a complete kit, rather than what I sell, which is just the plastic parts. More experienced builders will know where to source each set of components for the printers, but if you're first-time builder it's probably better, if a bit more expensive, to have someone else do that souby riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
Really appreciate the positive comments - thanks so much for ordering!by riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
Hey Jon, Sorry for the delay in response. We're using Smooth-on 326 at the moment. Please note, by the way, that we're only selling the plastic parts at the moment (not a full kit). Sounds as if you may already know this, but I just want to be clear so you know what you're getting Thanks, Justinby riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
Alex, Great! Thanks for your order. These will ship tomorrow, and I'll accept your payment and send you a status update then. (PS - KludgeGuru - hoping you got the tracking number I sent out on Saturday. I'm hoping you'll enjoy the parts, but if you're dissatisfied for any reason, please contact me through the Polytempo shop and we'll arrange a quick replacement or refund. Thanks!)by riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
I'd be happy to, but please note that I don't sell a complete kit - I'm only selling the plastic parts for now, which are about 30% of what you need. If you're interested in a complete kit, I can recommend TechZoneCommuncations at , as well as MakerGear at www.makergear.com. There are also lots of local suppliers in Europe - I don't know the names of any off the top of my head, but I would definby riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
KludgeGuru, I just responded to your status update request - hope you received the email, but if not, parts should ship on Saturday and include the Wade's Extruder parts. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks, Justinby riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
Hi there, I'm working on some ideas to improve the packaging quality + general build ease of the RepRap (especially for newbies), and one area I've been looking at a lot is the documentation. I've seen the wonderful visual Prusa Mendel instructions, and I was wondering if these are the current state of the art? I expect so since they're pretty great, but just wondering. Thanks, Justinby riboflavin - General
Wonderful, thanks! Please check your email For everyone else, please also note that I've added the drill guide that I use (which is color-coded) to the Clonedel page, in case that's helpful for anyone else looking to do this. Note that mine is the *second* set of instructions, i.e. the color-coded ones, beneath the main set. Justinby riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
Hello everyone, I've posted here only a couple of times before (mostly here), but I'm offering a set of poured resin (Smooth-On 326) Prusa Mendel parts for $65 without holes drilled, or $75 drilled (SAE or metric). The molds are made from parts printed on a Stratasys machine. I'm selling them through eBay here, drilled and undrilled. (I also sell them through my shop). Hello everyone, Just to further allay any concerns about whether I am offering legitimate parts (though note that I am also not asking for payment upfront), here's a "placemat photo". If there's anything else I can do or other questions I can answer, please let me know! Thanks, Justinby riboflavin - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
