for those wondering about the little potentiometer behind the display in an odd place, from my electronics experience and background i would say that the display would normaly be conected to a translater board with a header ribbon cable which would allow users/builders to fine tune for their application and has been modified for our reprap purposes though a good idea just not a very thought throuby XpTech2000 - General
i have similar problems with my reprap discount full graphic smart controller encoder which is also from bigtree, im using arduino mega2560 with ramps1.4, arduino 1.6.7 with u8glib v1.18.1 installed into libraries and marlin 1.1.1-rc3 and mine shows the boot screen then the main screen with min temp err but encoder moves nothing and no beeps, the soldering on the boards look absolutely shocking tby XpTech2000 - General
thanks dentist i will check that out n nice builds, my one is going to be similar-ish to your second pic i call the shape LT frame though i do have plans in mind for a cube with bed raising and from cnc tool changing an auto extruder changer for different colours but that will be down the line, i need to walk before i can run lolby XpTech2000 - General
Hi peeps, im new to 3d printing but have done loads of cnc upgrades to lathes and routers and im just gathering up all the parts before i build my first 3d printer, anyway i was going to use some spare nema23's 8wire dual shaft 3a per phase but having a further investigations into this new world ive found that they are way way overkill lol so i am now looking at the generally used nema17's, i wilby XpTech2000 - General
