Wade, I found the half round bearings and they are on the improvements page....so I haven't been making them and don't have the stock for them at the present time. I am going to make the nozzle as per the Extruder 1.1 documentation page. However, I can reduce the length of the nozzle tip as you suggest. If you are using the direct drive screw, as it appears that you are, the direct driveby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, Wade, it's a deal! I'll send you 2 sets minus the cables. PM me with your address. I am using the instructions from for the dimensions for all the parts. * The drive screw is M6 and is 70mm long. * The bearings are 6mm dia. and 11mm long. * The nozzle is going to have a 0.4mm hole. (Actually, it is going to 1/64" as I couldn't find metric drill bits of that size. 1/64" isby reifsnyderb - General

FireCrack, SCphotog, jeffpark_: I have each of you down for 1 kit. Tonight, I made 14 PTFE holders out of a 2' piece of 5/8" PTFE. Tomorrow night I will either work on the nozzles or the M6 threaded parts. I need to think about whether it will work better to make the nozzles on the South Bend 13" lathe or the mini-lathe. The mini-lathe worked great for making the bearings. Regards, Briaby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Tonight I received the rest of the tooling and ran off a batch of the 6x11mm bearings. Tomorrow night, I'll do the PTFE holders. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale

Hello, I received all of the materials and almost all of the necessary tooling today! I now have all but one of the collets made up and have tooled up my MS3 lathe turret with the required drill bits. If everything goes well, I can start making parts tomorrow evening. Hello, I am going to set the postage and handling at $10.00 for up to 5 kits. After figuring the cost of a padded envelope, the cost of postage, going to the post office, etc., I figure that $10.00 is reasonable. Assuming that there are no surprises for mailing to Canada, the $10.00 is good for the US and Canada. I'll post updates, on my progress, as everthing gets done. Hello, I just reviewed all of the shipping notifications and I should have all materials and tooling delivered on or by 12/9/08. Yesterday, I received the M6 threaded rod, the cable, the M6 nuts, and the PTFE. Last night, I made up the collet to machine the PTFE and was working on the M6 collet. Hello, Ok, I just finished ordering all of the materials and tooling in order to start production. This week, I'll make up the special collets that I will need in order to more efficiently use the lathes to produce the kits. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
I just need 2 more! I have ordered some of the materials and tooling that I need in order to properly equip my machines to build these kits quickly. I'll order the rest either today or tomorrow. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale

Hello, I just finished figuring out the cost of raw materials and here is what I am offering: 1 Cable-Drive Extruder Parts Kit, which contains: (This kit will only be shipped upon request. I have been reading a blog which indicates that the cable-drive system is not as reliable as the direct-drive system.) Larry, I was thinking about using imperial units, as well. However, for the sake of compatibility, I am going to keep with metric. But, as you know, metric could be considered "odd" imperial measurements. Also, there is no tolerance listed on the web page for these parts. So, for the 16mm diameter PTFE holder a piece of 5/8" PTFE should work fine as 16mm is 0.630 and we would only be underby reifsnyderb - General
Hello, I am new here and have spent some time looking at the RepRap project. While looking at what parts are required, I was wondering how people procure the parts for the extruder as most people don't have a lathe. Is there somebody here that makes these parts? Hello, I just found your re-designed extruder and it looks like a good solution to the machining problem. However, not everybody has the tools and/or skills to braze, either. Personally, I am hung up on figuring out the electronics end of things; but, I'll muddle through it when the time comes. I'll post my offer in the "For Sale" section, as you suggest. But, I figured that it would be aby reifsnyderb - General
