I think the 6mm plywood should be fine. There might be problems with getting all the joints completely square, but that will also be the case if you use smaller slots. The added .5mm is probably meant so it'll slide in easier. If you cut a 6mm slot for exactly 6mm thick wood, it will be a rather tight fit (and you might even have to sand the slot to make it wider). I found new build documentation for the Graber i3, here: There's also an entry about the bill of materials:by harry32 - Reprappers
I haven't bought the frame yet because I'm trying to make it myself - the only assembly instructions I found are uncommented: Take a look under "Laser Cut x-Axis Assembly". The M5 nuts are intended to be wedged between two pieces, but at least one of them should have an appropriate hexagonal pocket cut out, so the assembly will be flush. Hi there, I'll also be trying to build the Graber i3 in the coming months. I agree that decent BOMs are nowhere to be found. Some of the items are not quite clearly described, and sourcing them will be guesswork - what strikes me as wrong ist the quantity of GT2 Belts / Pulleys. There ought to be (at least?) two, X and Y axis are belt-driven, Z-axis is screw driven as in the original Prusa i3.by harry32 - Reprappers
