I don't understand why no one hasn't added non-planer printing to prusa or cura other than an odd script or some reference. I think after looking at Gcode samples the last few days there are commands for linear movements but I think you'd have to make a post-processing script to convert the movements and it'd probably be pretty buggy unless you're a good programmer. Could manually add it too if

Might have the feed rate set to something lower in the code or in the firmware, that'd be my guess.

I've been trying out the Bed tramming feature and I have found that it works good but I would like to change the way it does the tramming to make it more accurate. are there any programmers out there that could point me in the direction of the code for executing the motion? I want to make it set to a z position and move just the y and then I can adjust the bolt and then have a retest of the posit

Not Exactly what I wanted but I edited the menu_bed_corners.cpp file.
There is a line in there that displays the previous Z position. I found that it was calculated from the current_position.z variable and that it was nested in a function called _lcd_draw_probing().
That function is called with this line of code:
ui.refresh(LCDVIEW_REDRAW_NOW);
_lcd_draw_probing();
So, I changed the c

It seems I want to edit the LCD menu for trimming current_position.z is the variable and I have to convert it to a string but I'm unsure if I can make it update continuously. If I figure it out I'll post it.

Hi, I'm not much of a programmer but I've been trying to change the menu screen to display a live z position while trimming. I think it'd be useful. Could someone point me in the right direction? I think it's the Z_axis variable but I'm not sure and I'm not sure where to put it. lol
