Thx for the reply gloomyandy. Today, I made some progress on the issue and it got even more interesting. I was able to add a DuetPi to the setup. I turned the DuetPi into a Access Point so I can connect to it over wifi, everything seems to be working fine with the DuetPi. Hello, After a few days of daunting work I was able to upgrade my sidewinder x1 V4.0 to a spec thats mentioned in the title. However, I have a weird problem that I can not find an answer for and I did do the search on various sites and forums. The problem was there with the original 2.8” LCD that came with the sidewinder but, I thought, it might go away with the TFT35 from BTT, it didnt. I dont really know how that works, I am currently reading on it but, even if thats true, 1000 cpr isnt divisable by 3.6 degree...or is it not calculated that way?by h3ndrix - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Hello, I have a question that I cant seem to get my head around, would appreciate some help. I have a 1.2 angle 3 phase stepper with 1000 line encoder. This means my motor does 300 steps for each full turn. However, if I understand correctly, the encoders line count of 1000, even though it becomes 4000 count, it can not be divided by 300, so...how does this work?
