it is printed from my mendel prusa, abs, 240 degree, 90 degree heat bed. no fan is turned on. the print of columns from back side looks terrible, it looks twisted with close look. the the columns in front looks alright. Hello guys, the attached photo showed a part of vica printed from a kossel like printer. Two kinds of surface defects can be observed, which I marked on photo as A groove and B blob. Here are some observations: A Groove, groove happens when nozzle finished parameter and starts to move in to paint infil, it drags ipart of the parameter around the end point towards inside together. while im printing cylinder in abs, diameter 12mm. the surface isnt smooth, it become somethinglike orange skin. and it becomes fragile easy to break. i am printing at 210 degree, heat bed 100. initially no fan, but latter, i turned fan on from 2nd layer, which helps but still got the ugly skin. anyone has idea whats wrong?by trustmiao - Printing
Thanks for the reply, buddy. Got some clue from IRC, "check jumper under Z stepper driver. should be 3, and check that all have metal in them (Ive seen empty jumpers before), also check soldering of jumper pins " therefore, I tested with another spare ramps. And it is working fine now. though the other ramps has some issue with the end stop pins. Terrible builds, hope it helps the others.by trustmiao - Delta Machines
hi everyone, I 've got a weird case i can't get it solved, would like to have some inputs. While building up a delta-style printer with ramps 1.4, and marlin, Z axis always moves faster than the other two. It seems moves more than double the distance than x and y, while x and y moves the same. I've switched them, and it doesn't help, whichever connected to Z port moves same amount faster. Any onby trustmiao - Delta Machines
